谢谢秀峰帮我换了新主题~ 后来发现这个主题写中文怪怪的,所以决定这阵子用英语写日记了~ 大家可以尽情忽视,欢迎退订
It’s Sunday, both Mr K and I were supposed to go hiking with friends in suburban mountain today. However, it was raining through the weekend, so both plan were canceled, and we ended up having lunch together.
When we finished eating, problem arose. What shall we do next?
- Movies?
- I’ve no interests in those so-called mainstream movies to celebrate the 60 years of foundation.
- Shopping?
- I only go shopping with girls.
……
However, Mr K offered me an invitation to my surprise. “My place is really close so you could have a look at it if you want.” I’ve never seen a flat within the 2nd Ring Rd in this city before, and there was really no better option, so it was impossible for me to turn down.
So we went to his house, it was a little bit messy, but seemingly cozy. He showed a CD of the music ensemble he’s playing in. He was obviously not satisfied with some pieces, however, I found it funny, esp. the parts that he’s mimicking so-na with clarinet. For the first time I saw a musician inside this big boy, and it felt great when you got to know a whole new part of someone.
Later on, tea and chess time again. During which, his roommate came back, and he thought he was interrupting us and appeared really embarrassed, asking whether he should vanish like a magician. (Gosh, my face must have been soooooooo blushed at that moment). Of course he was let in and unexpectedly, he spoke perfect mandarin. When I say perfect, I mean perfect. I can never tell he’s not a Beijinger with my eye closed. It turned out that he had came to China in 1985, which meant he had been speaking mandarin longer than I had. No wonder.
And Thank Goodness, I won by 4:2 this time. I’d like to call it a triumph. No matter what, I’m a Chinese and I should beat a foreigner in Chinese Chess. Perhaps next time I should challenge him with table tennis.
